Rudraksha is known as a large evergreen broad-leaved tree whose seed is traditionally used for prayer beads in Hinduism. A bead chain/mala is made from it. In English Rudraksha is known as Woodenbegar.  

Which place rudraksha mala should be kept at home?

Rudraksha Mala should be kept in the Pooja room at home and be worshiped daily to get positivity in the house. As Rudraksha is known as the tear of Lord Shiva. And it must always be kept in a clean place.

The beads work best when worn 24*7. If you see Rishis and Sadhus (Saints), they wear it all the time and make it part of their body. However, if you are uncomfortable wearing them during the night, you may take them off and keep them in a clean place and wear them again in the morning after a bath.

Once you start wearing a Rudraksha, they take 7-8 days of continual touch on the skin to get activated. After that not keep them away from the skin for longer than 10 hours or else they will go into slumber once again. 

In India, Rudraksha trees are originally found in the Himalayas region. Other than this they are also found in the region of Uttranchal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Haridwar, Bengal, Garhwal, etc. Whereas, in Nepal, Rudraksha trees are especially found in the Dingla region, and are the best in Nepal.
